Chayora continues its efforts to build a superior data center platform serving Chinese market through investment in employees and facility following the establishment of data center campus in Shanghai and new leadership team
Hong Kong, July 3, 2023 – Chayora, a leading developer and operator of hyper-scale data center campuses in China, is excited to announce the relocation of its Beijing office to a new, larger space. The new office, located at Prosper Center in the Central Business District, is three times the size of its previous location. This move underscores Chayora’s commitment to enhancing its presence in the Chinese market and supporting its ongoing growth.
In 2023, Chayora established new data center campus and the leadership team in Shanghai. The expanded office will enable Chayora to offer more efficient and effective services to its partners and clients. Chayora is strategically investing in China's capital to address the increasing demand for critical IT infrastructure. The company's new facilities are designed to support latency-sensitive content, large-scale cloud deployments, and high-density AI applications.
China's data center market, the fastest-growing in the world, was valued at $13 billion in 2020 and is projected to reach $36 billion in 2026. As one of largest cities in China with a population of 22 million. Beijing is a major economic, commercial, and communication hub of China.
“Chayora remains focused on the Chinese market, and is dedicated to building a boundless and sustainable digital future for our customers in China. China’s enterprises and technology companies, especially large Internet companies and content providers, need reliable and scalable data centers to meet their customers’ needs. Our recent growth sets the stage for the next phase of regional development and customer expansion. We are also focused on helping Chinese enterprises leverage innovations like artificial intelligence and quantum computing.” – Wei Jing, CEO of Chayora
As a trustworthy data center infrastructure service company, Chayora’s strategic partnership with EdgeConneX enhances its capability to expand into other leading Chinese markets, providing a compelling, low-risk growth proposition for enterprises. Chayora operates two hyper-scale, carrier-neutral facilities with room for expansion. These facilities are fully licensed, and may offer substantial benefits to customers.
Notably, Chayora's Tianjin Data Center Campu, serving the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, is the first in northern China to achieve Uptime Institute’s Tier III Certificate of Design Documents, Tier III Certification of Constructed Facility, and Tier III Certificate of Operations. Additionally, it is also the first data center facility in China to earn OCP Ready™ certification. The Yangtze River Delta campus is a fully built-to-suit data center, enabling multinational companies to meet international standards and support their enterprise and cloud needs. Combined, these facilities offer over 200 MW of IT load capacity, catering to high-density computing demands and providing 100% renewable energy.
